This 50th Anniversary Pro Preferred 11 1/2” Derek Jeter model features the Basket Web pattern, which was the first flexible web that makes it easier to squeeze. The glove was a collaborative effort between Rawlings and shortstop Derek Jeter based on his position and performance needs. The Pro Preferred Series is made with durable Kipskin Leather, for easy break-in, deerskin lining, lacing tested to 100lb. tensile strength and a custom carrying bag. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the “Rawlings Gold Glove Award”, Rawlings released this limited edition 50th anniversary Pro Preferred glove in black, featuring authentic gold labels found only on “Rawlings Gold Glove Award” winner's gloves.
