The new Z-1000 features S1 iD barrel technology that allows the barrel to flex, providing maximum performance from the first swing. This bat is game ready from the time the wrapper comes off. Two inner discs are positioned inside the barrel at the sweet spot to stop the barrel from flexing past the performance limit, giving players maximum allowable performance. Precise positioning of iD within the barrel also allows for increased performance around the sweet spot, thereby increasing the sweet spot itself. New thinner and lightweight graphite fibers allow reduced wall thickness, creating better performance while maintaining durability. Thinner fibers also allow use of more layers in the barrel for added strength but with an overall wall that is thinner.
